From February 16 through April 11, 2004 Denny's featured the French Toast Slam -- Two thick slices of its Fabulous French Toast, two eggs cooked to order, and a duo each of sizzling bacon strips and flavorful sausage links -- for $4.99.
Denny's also put together a Coca-Cola promotion. Coca-Cola brought its partnership with the NCAA and a new basketball Final Four collectable cup promotion to Denny's.
Starting February 16, basketball fans were able to stop by Denny's and get their Coca-Cola/NCAA Basketball Final Four cup. The cup was free with the purchase of a beverage, soup or salad and one of four entrees: the BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Super Bird and Club Sandwich. Customers also could purchase the cup for $0.39 with any beverage purchase.
If they picked the French Toast Grand Slam, customers could top off their French toast with one of three fruit toppings (blueberry, strawberry or cherry) and whipped cream for an additional $0.99.
