Heavenly Father,
Creator of all beings, great and small,
overseer of those most weak and those most strong,
praise be unto Thee
for this day,
bathed in sunlight
or darkened by storm;
it is our heavenly gift,
a single life,
opportunity at its epitome.
Always present,
even in our blindness;
our Advocate in every earthly trial.
I come to Thee,
in need of counsel and consolation,
that I might be strengthened
and in Your army, serve.
This moment, requested of me, is difficult for the flesh
but my soul is without mar,
untouched by the world's wrongs,
or the weakness of the flesh.
I am whole and complete in my spirit
mirroring You;
created in Your image.
With this power,
I am free from the bonds and chains of this weakened body,
this disease,
this disability.
May my comfort come from this,
as if we sat hand in hand,
Your robe,
blowing in Galilee's gentle wind;
Your face,
declaring a parent's love
for me, Your child.
In my darkest moments,
may I return to those shores,
my spirit ever confident in Your presence.
You are my Hope and my Saviour;
the light which gives this being, life.
Praise be unto Thee.
