Lift me
for I am low, Father.
The child I am,
fallen, knee skinned,
and I look to Thee,
knowing all will be healed.
My trust lies in You.

Your open palms, stretch to me.
I close my eyes, and You are with me;
guard me,
as infection fights me.

My being is in Your care.
I am no more that the bird or the lily
I await my place at life's table
where I might be nearest You.

Remove from me my doubts,
allow me faith,
and let me promise back,
those things I can accomplish;
needed things
for which You created me.
I am listening.
I am Your child.
