Actify and 3Dconnexion announced today a marketing agreement that will simplify CAD visualization for thousands of end-users.
Under the terms of the agreement, Actify supports 3Dconnexion's 3D motion controller products SpaceBall, SpaceMouse, SpaceTraveler, SpaceNavigator and CadMan. SpinFire Professional 2003 users can now enjoy Two Handed Power with up to 30% productivity gains and 50% fewer mouse movements. With this efficient two-handed work style, Actify users can view, measure, mark-up and share files in a more natural and intuitive way, allowing them to collaborate faster and easier than ever.
3Dconnexion will distribute a trial version of SpinFire Professional 2003 with each 3D motion controller it sells, giving customers the option to try an optimized CAD visualization solution powered by a 3D motion controller for the first time. Both engineers and non-engineers alike will use 3Dconnexion's motion controllers with SpinFire Professional. The trial version is fully upgradeable to a full licensed version.
