The Hitachi NR90GC gas powered clipped head framing nailer combines cordless utility with traditional framing nailer power. Impressively well-balanced and lightweight, the gas nailer is a cordless alternative to pneumatic tools.
Engineered with Hitachi's precision and attention to detail, the nailer delivers a tool as easy on you as it is to operate. No heavy compressor that requires a power source, no hoses to wind and untangle saves time. The power is generated from an interchangeable battery and fuel rod. The battery recharges in an hour. The tool drives up to two nails per second and a thousand nails per hour. A six-nail lockout feature prevents accidental dry fire assuring nails are lodging securely.
Hitachi's NR90GC fires up to a 3-1/2" x .131 clipped head nail to offer maximum flexibility and versatility on the job. A two-step nail loading procedure saves time and energy. The adjustable depth of drive nose piece assures proper nail down with varying materials. A low battery indicator light is conveniently located on top of the magazine. The fuel rod compartment door was designed with a double lock to assure the fuel rod is seated firmly and the door will not pop open and interrupt operation. A collapsible rafter hook located at the rear side of the magazine can be used to hang the tool on a rafter when both hands are needed.
The nailer comes with a battery, charger, and carrying case. Early next year, the full round head version will be available. These gas nailers are ideal for framing, subflooring, fencing, sheathing, decking, truss build-up, modular housing construction, remodeling, and punch-out work.
