The articulating head keeps the sanding disc properly oriented to the drywall during sanding operations. Patented foam-backed adhesive sanding pads virtually eliminate swirl marks. The variable-speed dial allows matching the speed to the application. The powerful 3.5 amp motor turns the sanding pad at 2,000 rpm for aggressive sanding action. Because the sander is 62 inches long, the operator can easily reach up to 10-foot-high ceilings without scaffolding. Weighing only 7-1/2 pounds with the motor on the lower end of the handle, the sander is lightweight and well balanced for comfortable all day use.
