Thank you for the answered prayers. My son made a safe trip home to interview for a job, was offered the job, and safely returned to his current home. He will return home soon to start his new job which he so badly needed. Thank your for helping my daughter do so well on her finals in college. She did well enough to keep her scholarships. I would just like to share my experience with those on this site. I am not Catholic but about five months ago I desperately needed a favour and I turned to St. Anthony who granted it. Within the same month he granted me three more important favours. I believe that he also made it possible for a special person to enter my life. Since then I have been doing a lot of reading on different aspects of Catholicism and for the first time I feel closer to God and I find that I can speak to Him comfortably and without feeling self-conscious. The Almighty Father, the Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus are now an important part of my life. I love You, Lord. Renita.

Thank you St. Jude for answering my prayers to heal my friend who had been diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. According to her family, her tumor is nearly undetectable on the scans. Also thank you for bringing my healthy son into the world and providing financial stability with our investment.

MJ, as far as I can figure, the "unexpected" part is just as important as getting an actual rose. I've read stories about people who haven't actually been given a rose but have seen them in strange places or odd ways -- like the woman who looked out her office window on the morning that she finished the novena. Across the street, someone had just unfurled a multi-story banner advertising a florist's convention, and painted on the banner was a. . .you guessed it! Deb does that include seeing roses, say in the grocery store that made me actually stop and look at them,like they were in a wierd place or a rose hanging in the rear view mirror of the car next to me at a stoplight? or opening email that recently now have a rose theme? i hate to feel as if im just looking too far into this yet i believe nothing to be coinceidence. ive never actually been given a rose,just seen them and perhaps seeing them when i probably would have just ignored them. oh well i give thanks anyways and pray for patience! mj

Joe, I just found this quote from St. Therese, herself: "No one will ever invoke me without obtaining an answer...If I am wrong, I'll come back and tell you..." And since she promised to let fall a shower of roses from Heaven, I am going to assume that receiving a rose means a favorable answer. I've said the novena a couple of times and haven't received a rose. Those particular prayers weren't answered in the way that I had asked for them. . ."No" is an answer, too. :-) But when St. Therese did send me a favorable answer, I always received either the smell of roses or some unexpected gift with a rose on it. I've always heard that if you receive a rose or something unexpected with a rose on it, that means that St. Therese will answer in your favor. God bless!

Can anyone please settle an argument between myself and my wife about the St. Therese Novena, we have been going around and around on this, we both think that we are right. The question is is you receive or see roses from St Therese within the 5 days of the novena what does it mean. I say she is just acknowledging your prayers, my wife says that she is telling you she has heard and they will be answered. Can anyone solve this argument!!?? Joe

I want to thank the Lord for another answered prayer. I prayed about a month ago that my estranged boyfriend would finally find full-time employment. His job and money situation was creating quite a bit of stress. Well, I spoke to him today and he said an aquaintance approached him and asked if he was still looking. Now he is working full-time, will have great insurance benefits in another two months, he has a company vehicle and a company credit card! Praise our Lord! I told him I'd been praying for him to find work and he said a heartfelt "thanks" and that he'd been praying for me as well! I had also prayed to hear from him, which I did (he called but didn't leave a message) and I got an e-mail yesterday. I took that as an opening. I pray the Lord will see fit to restore love and harmony to us. Wish us luck and keep us in your prayers. As you can see, the Lord does answer them. He had been out of work for over one year. Don't give up hope! MissMM

Thank you God for the buffet meal at work the other day. Otherwise I would not have eaten. I'm sorry I took some hamburger home. It helped me for 3 meals.
