If a child comes to a parent and asks for poison, a loving father will not grant the request, no matter how much the child begs for it. If your prayers have not been answered in the way that you think they should, that doesn't mean that God doesn't love you. He can see all the ends of our choices while we only see what we want. He does love you, and sometimes His greatest gift to us are the prayers that He answers differently than we wanted. I've known the most peace in prayer when I've simply placed something in God's hands and said, "You know what is best."
