Matthew 22: 31-32 clearly states that God is the God of the living and not of the dead. ALL the saints are alive in God, not just the ones still on earth. And we do not pray TO the saints, per se: rather, we ask them to intercede for us with God.If I can ask a believer on earth to pray for me, then I see no problem with asking a holy believer in Heaven to pray, either.

Yes, he does. He freed me from a terrible situation and has opened up doors for me. God saves. He loves us even if we don't love ourselves or each other. He forgives and he listens. Keep praying.

He most certainly does, his cousin St. Jude and I are very tight. His mother Mary and I talk every day for no particular reason. But St. Jude definetly performed a miracle for me.

Thank God and St. Jude for answering my family's prayers. Six months ago, my brother's 15 year old stepdaughter falsely accused him of sexual abuse. We just found out that the charges against him are going to be dismissed. Now my family needs your prayers for their healing and safety. The accuser is harrassing and threatening them. Pray for my family's safety and that this girl will get the help she needs. But at least my brother wont be going to trial for something he didnt do. God have mercy on all of us.

YES! GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS! I hold my answer everyday in my arms, and I am more grateful than I can express. While I was pregnant with my daughter, we found that she had some problems. They were not problems that the doctors could fix. We prayed and prayed and begged the Lord to heal her and allow her to be born healthy. Along with our prayers were those of family, friends, and strangers (through this site), and I guarantee that God heard them. Because He blessed us with a very healthy and extremely happy baby girl! Yes, I can say without a doubt that God answers prayers. It may not be when we want them answered or how we want them answered. As I look back on my life, I can clearly see how God has answered my prayers and brought me ever closer to his heart. I lost my father when I was 5 yrs. old. My mother was a new immigrant to this country and w/out any education or family nearby. My mother struggled with two small children in a foreign country. She remarried when I was 12 yrs. old. We went through some tough times because she married a divorced man with four children -- two of them lived with us but we got through all of the problems and the children all turned out well. I went through peer pressure and strayed away from God's plan for me. I didn't get married until I was 30 and thought that I had found the perfect man even though he had a lot of problems due to his bad childhood. I believed we were meant for each other and I still believe that God brought us together for some reason. I didn't realize how much anger and bitterness were in his heart. He alienated me from my family and friends. I went through cancer and remission and was then blessed with two beautiful and healthy children. My husband was thankful for my recovery and the birth of our children but he is still not a very happy man -- he can't let go of all the pain he experienced as a child. I have been praying to St. Rita for a miracle to restore our marriage and that the Holy Spirit will enter his heart so that he can truly be thankful for all the blessings he has received. I have seen some small changes in him lately. I know that God will guide me to do whatever is best for myself and my children. At this moment, I feel that I need to keep trying to make this marriage work. Much of my problem has been feeling and showing resentment towards my husband. It is sometimes very difficult to forgive. I am also praying that God gives me the wisdom and strength to only speak kind words to my husband even when he is verbally attacking me. I am at peace and know that God answers prayers even if it is not what I'm praying for -- it will always be what is best for me and whatever I need to learn through my experiences good or bad. I trust in the Lord, my God, with all my heart and all my soul. Please have faith and believe and pray, pray, pray. God is always with you...

God answers all prayer. He answers all prayers in his time and the way he feels the prayer should be answered. I never doubt, and I pray for those who do. Keep faith - God hears and will answer.

I think it's great that a lot of people wind up getting what they asked for. Was it a result of prayer or just luck? Many people do not have their prayers answered. So what is the answer?

Yes, God answers prayers. And when he does not its because he has something better in mind for us. By not answering certain prayers, he helps us to see what were thought we wanted or needed was not for us; and then, he helps us in otherways to achieve what we really need. At times, I've asked for things, hadn't received them and then in retrospect realized that those things I wanted were not good for me; they would only have hurt me. So, sometimes by not anwering a prayer, God really is answering. I know that sounds crazy, but its true. Thank you Lord for answering all my prayers.

Does God answer prayers? Yes I see answered prayers everyday. My sister depends on St. Anthony who has never ever let her down. Everyday I see blessings and all good in my life. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed on my family and I especially thank you for the peace that has come over our home in the last few days. St. Rita, thank you for your intercession on behalf of my troubled marriage. We still have a long way to go but I see a difference in my husband. I pray that he will continue to see how God has blessed him with so much. I pray that he turns to God for guidance so that all of his bitterness and anger towards everyone goes away. I also pray for patience on my part and to continue my process of forgiving. Dear Lord, thank you for staying close to me in this difficult time in my life. Amen

Dear, Jesus, Mary and God, Thank you for answering my prayers about having a good day on Saturday with the love of my life, however he is still unsure about things. I really ask, prayer and hope that you will let his time away from me make him realize that he does not want to loose me, things are worth working out and we are meant to be together. Please let him realize that him, I and M are a family and one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, which is what he believed a few months ago. Yes, only sometimes we recognize the answer and sometimes we don't. I recently prayed to Saint Jude for nine consecutive days -my request was business related. Sure enough, my business partner was granted a new project that we had been hoping for ... in some ways it is confusing because I was praying for a project to come to me but it went to my partner - which was just fine ... I recognize St. Jude's answer to my novena. Pray to St. Jude. margaret

I have prayed the rosary each day for months for the success of my son during his 1st year of college. He struggled so, even after being an honor student in HS. He received his grades this week, and not only passed everything, but improved 4 of his grades. He now will be able to stay at the university he so wants to graduate from. Thank you Holy Mother and St. Joseph for your many blessings.

I have been saying the prayer to the Blessed Virgin that has never been known to fail and I can vouch for the truth of that statement. I have been saying this prayer for several weeks and have found it to be extraordinary and comforting. I recommend it to all.
