YES!! Without question, God answers prayers. It may not be when we want or when we seem to need it most, but He has a plan for each of us, and in time our prayers will be answered, according to His plan. I had a prayer emailed to me from my cousin in Mexico. He is a US citizen and his now wife, is a native of Mexico.Due to this, our whole family has been praying for his wife's visa to come in in time for her to be able to return to the States with her new husband after their honeymoon. Since recieving this prayer he emailed, "Dear Blessed Escriva", I prayed it daily for my cousin and his wife to be. A mere five days before the wedding was to take place, I prayed my petition, as usual. Within 15 minutes of praying, my aunt called to tell us that the visa had arrived and they would be able to surprise the newlyweds with the news upon their arrival in Mexico! Anyone who says prayers aren't answered--think again about how you pray and what you pray for. Have Faith, always!Hell no!!!!
Please God hear my prayers.
I have asked the Lord to please let me meet the right person. I desperately want to meet the person that I will spend the rest of my life with I have been praying for a while now, please Lord I can not do this on my own, I need your help. Please answer my prayer I will forever be greatful.
Lord please forgive me for my sins and please grant the special favor that is so dear to my heart.
I work in a therapeutic community for the recovery of drug abusers. We have a weekly optional prayer meeting. Before a particular meeting one resident wanted to leave the community to take drugs. He left just before our meeting. His cousin, also a resident in the community, felt very down so I asked him what he can do for his cousin. he replied that he could do nothing. His companions said that we can pray for the cousin. So I quoted Mt. 18:19-20 and challenged their faith. We prayed that the Lord will give us back the resident who left. It was 10:30 P.M. The following morning a staff member told me that the resident phoned from home who said he wanted to come back. When the resident arrived at the community I met him at the gate and he asked me: "Did you by any chance pray for me yesterday?" to which I asked him why he is asking the question and he replied: "Because yesterday, at 10:30 I felt a deep inner stiring, my pride left me and I immediately told my mother to phone the community, I want to go back!". Yes, the power of prayer is, indeed, great!
Yes, I beleive He does. Prayer always leaves me feeling comforted in the fact that I can unburden my anxieties to a far greater being than any mortal person can imagine. My problems, fears, and anxieites don't always go away, but I find renewed strength to make decisions to help solve them. The most difficult thing for me is taking the time to pray; especially after a sinful time. I feel like a hypocrite praying to GOD after falling down in sin. We wage a battle against evil every single day through temptations, and it seems too easy to fail at drawing closer to GOD.
Most times I pray out of habit, sometimes I pray because I wanted something badly. About a year ago my company terminated my services as I was no longer needed. I prayed to God for help. I said "Give me any job you think it's best for me" Later I was called for interview and was offered the post 3 months later. I never look back since. I'm very happy and grateful that God has look out for me in my time of stress and when I was feeling low. I thank God because I never get what I wanted but got instead what I needed most.
God DOES answer prayers but not always the way we want them answered. We all like to hear Yes to our prayer requests. Some of us can even accept a no. But the toughest answer is "wait". Yes, be patient and wait on the Lord is what is required. I prayed to God to take care of my Company in Vietnam. He did! They are with Him now. I alone survived. Why? I asked this question hundreds of times:thousands of times but always believed He had a purpose. He did! For 30 years I have been a Christian Pastor. His calling, not mine. My job was to continue the mission of combatting evil with His goodness and grace. He has never failed nor forsaken me. He will do the same for you if you will but ask and seek His response patiently and faithfully.
God most certainly answers our prayers. It may not always come at the time we want it to come, but it comes at the time he knows we need it to come. God will never give us more than he knows we can handle. Think of every problem you have as a task of the Lord. Offer it up to him as a sacrifice. Trust in him that whatever is happening to you, has some kind of purpose beyond human understanding. The Lord is always there with us. SO NEVER give up praying, GOD GOVERNS THE WORLD, BUT PRAYER GOVERNS GOD.
Looking back I thank God for all the times when he didn't answer me according to my requests but gave me what is best for me. It may not make sense right now but later it will. God is always near. But so is the devil. Fear and doubt comes from the devil. The word "fear" is written 365 times in the bible. Jesus knew that we'd have fear. He told us 365 times in the bible not to fear. One for each day. I know how you feel if you doubt Jesus right now. I'm going thru that right now. I own a restaurant that isn't going well. You know how it is when money isn't coming in to cover bills. The world becomes a more fraustrated place. You don't know who to turn to. The banks won't lend you money. Help me with comments cause I'm lost. I don't know what to do. Please pray for me. My brother and sis in law is partner with me. I'm going through a battle with them as well. I told my sis in law that because the restaurant isn't bringing in enough money for us to survive; and because it's cheaper to hire waitresses than chef She and I need to earn extra income to fill in the cracks. They don't want to work; that's ok; but they don't want me to work either. Their suggestion was we all remain in the restaurant. But it isn't bringing in any money to cover the bills. Help me what should I do? Please pray for me.
Jesus died for you centuries ago.
God does not answer prayer so matter how hard you pray or believe. You can say any rosaries or hail mary's but your wasting your time. I have been doing it for the past 12 years if he does answer prayers he hasn't heard mine that's for sure.
God has always answered my prayers. I prayed to have my own business when I was small and he answered that prayer. I prayed to marry the a certain man I almost marriedhim but he was the wrong man, thought I would die when the relationship ended. But then I asked God to send me the man he wanted me to marry and within the year I meet him. We have been married for 7 years and he is my best friend. I had a dream that God has happy with our marriage. I hope this is true. God has always helped me with all my problems no matter how small.
I truly believe that God answers our prayers, but He responds by providing us with what we need and not always what we desire. Case in point...my mother passed away from cancer five years ago. When she was diagnosed and treated for the condition a year prior to her death, I prayed earnestly to God for a remission. I was really scared of the possibility of losing her because she was the closest person in my life. To my surprise, though, I felt a deep sense of peace, strength, and understanding immediately after she died, and I realized that those prayers were actually helping me accept God's will in that situation.
yes god answers prayer i was feeling lonely and ask him to bring friends into my life and he did. i meant two nice girls i m getting to know and i thk him very much. thk u god and i love you with all my heart and soul
Yes, I just pray with faith. I know he will answer my prayers what's best for me. He even got me the full-time time I have always wanted. Praying to St. Jude, St. Joseph and St. Teresa Little Child of Jesus all of their intercessions to God are helpful. PRAY WITH FAITH IN HIM!
yes, I have been praying to St Jude for a job and to heal my marriage so my husband will return. I received a job offer after I was sure I failed the interview. I am so grateful. I continue to pray for my marriage and have hope we can heal it.
Yes! Today I prayed the rosary and placed everything in Gods Hands! I asked for god to help my husband in his dealings with a difficult customer-this is the nicest and most amiable she has ever been! I also asked that more work would come in and it did. I also asked that people would pay and they did. God answers if we just give him the chance and let go and not hang on to or think about the prayer once we've placed it in his hands.
Yes!
Yes of course. I asked God if I could see a girl I liked on last time before I moved and she came and visited me the next day.
Yes he does,Thank you Lord,I prayed to St Joseph and I know that prayer was answered Thank you St. Joseph
God answers my prayers daily. I begged God to have mercy on my unborn daughter, and at our last ultrasound, her condition was improving. I had complete faith that God would answer my prayers and he did. I knew in my heart that he was with my daughter, and he showed me that he was. He has never let me down, and I am forever grateful to HIM. I pray that he continues to watch over my baby girl, and that he lets her be born healthy. GOD IS GREAT!!!!
God DEFINATELY answers prayer. You have to believe with all your heart and have complete faith in Lord, because he does hear our prayers. Pray with an open and loving heart and the Lord will hear you. Never doubt HIM, HE is with you always.
l don't know but l hope so!
I think that God does answer prayers whether you believe in him or not. Some people think that god doesn't answer prayers. For example, say you ask for 25 dollars and you dont get it the day of your request. you would instantly think that God didnt hear you.Anyways, I think that he does hear you but he just answers your prayer at the right time and place. My God is never late because he is a on time God.
My sister in law called me last fall with joy in her voice. She was going to have a baby! A few months latrer that joy was replaced with fear after her doctor told her that her child would probably be born with Down Syndrome. The Dr. did tests, but offered little hope. She called me with tears in her voice that day, and asked for our prayers. I tried that night to explain the situation to my son when we prayed together. He was 5 years old. He looked at me very seriously and said that we needed to write letters to everyone in the world and ask them to pray, too. I explained that we couldn't, but he was determined. he painstakingly wrote a prayer request and asked me to put it in the newspaper because "everyone reads the newspaper and they will see it and pray". He wrote a letter to the Vatican and the President and many other people. He asked our Priest to add her to the prayer list, along with the baby, and asked all of his friends at school and even total strangers to pray, too. Several weeks later he received a picture of The Pontiff and a letter from an American Mosignor saying that prayers would be said for his Aunt's intentions. That day my sister in law called me and said that the baby was okay, and that there was no explanation for the first abnormalities with her test results. When I told my son, he smiled. He said he already knew the baby was okay because so many people prayed. He never once doubted that God would make his cousin okay and I saw Faith dawn in the eyes of total strangers when this little boy somberly asked for their help. His prayers were answered, and so were mine. My son is growing up with a good heart and he is thoughtful of others. Best of all his faith is total and complete.
I have no doubt what so ever that God answers prayers. He answers mine every single time. But what everyone must remember is that sometimes the answer is 'NO'.
I would like to thank all who prayed for my daughter to pass her final exams (she did!) and she will graduate on Thursday evening. Thank you Lord, your Mother, the Virgin Mary and St. Jude for all prayers answered. I will continue to pray for all.
I would like to say a little prayer of thanks to God for his grace and love thankyou for helping me i was worried. I hope my new position at work will be a good one. Also God now that i have your attention please bless me by bringing a catholic, goodlooking, tall and great sence of humor with a touch of intelligence of a man into my life. I am ready now i hope he will be ready for me in the name of the father son and holy spirit AMEN "belive anything you ask in the name of jesus will be done" I love you God and i hope you can help me out.
HE FOUND ME A GOOD JOB IT TOOK YEARS BUT HE CAME THROUGH
Yes. I do know what it's like to not have a particular prayer answered. I prayed for years but it was never answered-which turned out to be for the best! My prayer was answered along a different path-which is better than I could have imagined! Trust in God he truly knows whats best for each person!
Yes God does answer prays. He has answered many in our lifes. Never give up, always have faith. Your prays will be answered for the best. They have for me.
This week was full of blessings! A friend finally ended a bad relationship, many lost things were found...proof in the power of St. Jude and St. Anthony's intercession to God. If YOU feel like you haven't been answered...keep praying!! Sometimes God's answers are not the ones we want- but in the end you find it IS the best answer..the one you would have wanted if you had
Do you know what it is like to have a strong belief and believe that something really good is going to happen for you and for it to all fall through by not getting any answers after all. I have had this for over a year and then before this 18 months. I get so depressed and disappointed I don't beleive I will ever get my answer. I keep praying and hoping one day God will finally hear me. God it's me can you hear me and see my pain?
I'm trying to beleive and keepfaith but, It seem like my prayers aren't being heard. I've prayed for one particular favor and can't even get answered. My favor is very important to me and each day I get no answer is another day that slipped away.I don't think I will ever get my answer. I try to be patient but after all this time it's hard. I should just give up and forget about this I might suffer less anxiety ,pain and suffering. Maybe this is what wants for me anyway, that's why he hasn't answered.
Be patient my child, I have a world of prayers to answer, problems in the Middle East, Korea, Philippines, Nepal, Africa . . . . . . . . . , disease to cure, AIDS, Cancers, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Foot and Mouth, Ebola virus . . . . . . . . . , Then I have, Hurricanes, flooding, nuclear weapons, oil spills, pollution . . . . . . . . . , Also, the poor, the homeless, the hungry, missing children and adults, abuses, addictions . . . . . . , I Love You My Child, Your Prayers Will Be Answered Too.
Don't give up on God, don't stop believing. The roses were a sign that your prayer was heared and is being answered, some prayers take time, just like the best wines take time. Just be patient-place your prayer in God's hands, let go, and believe, your answers will come. Pray for your friend who doesn't believe.
Yes, God answers all prayers! Those that seem hopeless or just the smallest wish. He answers them directly or by guiding others to bring the answer. Some are answered over time, when in his wisdom he knows it's the right time. Sometimes God has to say no, to what we pray for, but he always guides us to what's right for us. We just have to let go and let God have the prayer, trusting completely in him to answer, and trusting the wisdom of his answer. Does God answer prayers? Yes every minute of every day.
Believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. GOD answers prayers in His time not yours. Believe, Believe, Believe. Thanks be to GOD!!!!!!!!!
I want to believe prayers are answered but, I'm still waiting to get any answer I can. I've prayed for a year to St. Therese and received roses believing they were from her but I guess it was a trick or wishful thinking because I was'nt answered. Do you know how hurt I was I felt like I was lied to or defeated. What were the roses for then? I'm confused . I feel like why pray there not heard. I'll keep trying for awhile. But I get so darn depressed waiting. One dat I'm just going to give up all together and change my religion and belief. A friend asked why I pray, she said no one hears you because there is no one there to hear you. She asked can you see anyone, why do you pray to nothing? She thinks I'm nuts maybe I am.
Thank You GOD for answering my prayers thus far. If it was not for Your Divine Intervention, my husband would have never had a change of heart. Now that he is so close to the job that we have been praying for, I need You to please help him get it. I feel so strongly that this is Your Will. All the happenings have been leading to this. I believe in You more than anything. I believe that You will take care of my special intention. Thank You to Mother Mary, St. Jude, St. Joseph, St. Therese the Little Flower for your prayers. Continue to pray as the deal is not quite sealed yet. All praise to GOD and the Lord Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!
I wish he would soon!
Thank You GOD for answering my prayers thus far. When I asked that my husbands heart be turned around, like a miracle he said that he wanted to move home. When he turned down a job that could have brought us home, I asked for a miracle, and You helped provide him with a new opportunity. Now, that this new opportunity is here, I feel confident that You will help him to take the job. I am so glad that I have a close relationship with You. Thank You for all the things that You have given me. I love You and I believe.
My mom died when I was 10 years old, and I can safely say that if I did not have God in my life, I would not be here today. I praise God everyday for him guiding me and protecting me and giving me the courage to face every day in my life. I am now happily married to the most wonderful person, thank God for that, have a beautiful home and live a very simple life! So yes God does answer prayers, he is there to give us courage and hope. I never forget to thank him for always being by my side!! Thank your Jesus for your merciful love. If you pray to God with a humble and honest heart, he will answer your prayers.
God does answer prayers. He is the most merciful, most loving and most gracious god. God does not give us more than we can bear. And we must never forget to thank God for all of your small mercies. He has always answered my prayers, I thank and praise him everyday!! Most mornings I begin my day with saying, "This is the day which the Lord hath made I will rejoice and be glad in it."
Good Morning. I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help. If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, DO NOT attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box. It will be addressed in MY time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, DO NOT hold on to it or attempt to remove it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem. If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution. Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away. As with all good things, please pass this on. By John Tallon.
No. in the novena to the Blessed Mother you dont have to tell anyone what your request is.

God ALWAYS answers my prayers. Sometimes He says no and sometimes He says yes. What I always learn later is that His "no" is really a good thing.
Absolutely. In fact, I needed help today. Often times I ask God to show me the way. I needed help with a problem. I don't know what inspired me to call a certain person but when I called this certain person I knew my prayers had been answered. I am very happy.
No, He does not. If he did I wouldn't be on this site. I've prayed forever and not one thing I prayed for was answered. I guess only certain people are lucky to be answered. Who do you have to know.
Yes, of course! God answered many of my prayers this month. Prayers for a friend undergoing open heart surgery, prayers for another friend with a problem pregnancy, prayers for another who thought she had another malignant tumor and prayers for myself that the lump on my breast would not be cancer. We all came through great with the help of God.
All of life is composed of small things! The small things form the big things.
From May 31-June 3, 2001 I went on a "Journey to Damascus" which is very similar to the "Walk to Emmeus" only the Journey is Catholic sponsored. Catholic priests are the Spiritual Directors and Mass is said every day of the journey. Anyway, we had an opportunity to whisper into the ear of a priest a "dying moment", in other words something that we wanted for the Lord to take from us. I asked Him to take my failure to forgive my mother in law, pride and fear related to that issue. My mother in law and I have not spoken in over 5 years. Anyway, when I got home from the journey, I called upon the Holy Spirit to help me write a letter to my mother in law asking for forgiveness and offering to help our relationship heal. I would have not had the grace to do that had I not given it to God and implored the Holy Spirit to give me the words. I now pray that the Holy Spirit will be with her when she reads it, but I am free of the pain and suffering that I did have from her treatment of me. Truly this was a miracle. I have even been encouraging my son to call her by the name that she wants to be called. I really do not feel any fear and I have no more pride in this matter. I am free. Thanks be to God!
Yes God does answer prayers. He surely helped me last night when I did my presentation for class last night at school. I want to say "Thank You very much God" for all your help last night when I needed it most at school. -
Yes God does answer prayers. I miss placed an item which was borrowed, after searching high and low for days I still coultn't find it. Last night I asked God to help me find it(didn't realy pray just asked). This morning I was moved to clean out my car and lo and behold there it was! This was the second time this week I cleaned out my car, I didn't find it the first time.
Yes, God answered my prayer! (thank you all for praying with me)for my son to overcome his ADD he is getting better!
Yes! Thank you all for your prayers my procedure went well and the doctors didn't find anything.
Yes - whenever I feel restless and uncertain and I pray for peace, for the Holy Spirit to come, I feel so much better.
