Yes God does answer prayers. I miss placed an item which was borrowed, after searching high and low for days I still coultn't find it. Last night I asked God to help me find it(didn't realy pray just asked). This morning I was moved to clean out my car and lo and behold there it was! This was the second time this week I cleaned out my car, I didn't find it the first time.

Things arent going to happen right away.i have noticed that small things are happening now to bring me and this other person together and the only way it couldve happend is through God. I sit in my room for hours everyday with the door shut, and the blinds closed. It is completly dark in there, I'm isolated alone in the room. I look at her picture, and then cry and puke for hours mourning for her. And then I pray afterwards and maybe have a few more tears stream down my face.

I know there are probably some mischievous people that come to this site and read the messages here, and there are probably some people who have or are going to read my message and then do something retarded like pray to God for me not to be with the girl for I don't know what reason. I like the how the girl is now, I feel like I want to be with her now until forever, and I don't want to wait as long as a year or anything. I am appalled by what I just read. You must have faith in GOD. Don't give up on him so easily, because he would never give up on you. Also, don't give up on yourself. You will find what you want in due time. Please don't be so hateful especially towards GOD. He has never turned His back on us, so we should never turn our back on Him. this is in response to the entry below: God will help you if you have faith in him. He knows whats best for you. Things will happen in His time not Yours. you may get what you pray for but maybe right now is not the time. Keep praying and have faith and your life will be happy.

I am 16 years old and very thankfully go to a Catholic school. Today we learned about a novena and prayed one to St. Therese of Lisieux. While I was praying I couldn't think of anything to pray for so on my way back home after school was over, I asked God if, for my novena, that I could talk to my grandmother, who passed away last October. Her husband has been lonely and living by himself since then, but about 2 weeks ago he spilled boiling water on his ankle and stayed in the hospital for a weekend. Well, today, while at work my mom recieves a phone call and its him talking to the hurse in his hospital room. He is telling her how he was hurt and they start talking about where they are both from and so on and so forth. Well, my mom keeps calling his name because she thinks he called him. Well, he doesn't know my mom's work phone number, but my grandmother who passed away knew it by heart. Plus, when my mom dialed *69 to see what number they called, it was my grandfathers cell phone number, which he wouldn't have used. When my dad was home from work he said that it was my grandmother. I was so happy I had the chills and was almost crying, but I hope you have enjoyed my testimony and will pray for me and my family and my grandmother and grandfather, thank you very much and God bless.

Yes God answers prayers. Big or small. Those that seem hopeless or just the smallest wish. He answers them directly or by guiding others to bring the answer. Some are answered before their even asked. Some are answered over time, when in his wisdom he knows it's the right time. Some are never answered but we are directed to bigger and better things. Yes, My brother-in-law was dying from cancer. I prayed almost every day that I would be able to be with him and my sister when he was called home. One morning at work, I had a strong need to call my sister, who told me she was trying to call me. That Art wasn't feeling well and could I pick up some medicine for him. When I got to their home, Art was sitting up and I was able to enjoy conversation with him. WIthin 40 minutes he passed away. It was December. It was warm that day and there was a comforting wind. I know with absolute faith and experience that God answers prayers. only last sunday I prayed for something that I needed in the way of a strained relationship.At the time of praying I thought it was a desperate situation. i did my praying at the 5pm Mass. I got home at 6.15pm and the phone rang. In that conversation was the very answer to my prayers of one hour earlier. The home went to forclosure and I thought "Why didn't God help" I had prayed more than I ever did in my life. Little did I know that he had not stopped working for me. Even though the court had signed the papers, a relative had offered the financial help to meet the back mortgage payments and when I contacted the court they were willing to accept the payment and we are able to keep our home. My Grampa died in Michigan on Monday, February 26th, while I was away at school in Montana. It didn't look like we had the money for me to fly home for the funeral, so I was going to have to face the week knowing I was without family, and everyone else was mourning together. I climbed a very tall hill (thinking, "If I am closer to God, maybe He'll hear me better") and I told Him I was not strong enough to face the week along. I just was not strong enough. I said it over and over. By seven the next morning (less than 12 hours later) my parents had figured out a way for me to get home, and by Wednesday I was on a plane. Then I found 1 Corinthians 10:13. Read it, and you'll know just what I mean.

Yes He does!! I was once diagnosed with cancer at an early age and the hospital bills were growing high. I begged for the Lotto just enough to pay for the hospital, doctor and chemo bills. Well, i did not win the lotto. But I won a lot more then that. I won the battle. God has given me and my family a second chance. And God did answer my pray in his own way. My hospital bills were paid by the hospital themselves. So although I did not win the Lotto he answered my prayer in another way. The correct way because its his way. ;-)

I told my husband we could try having another baby if he would promise to pray for twins, if it was in God's divine will. We had boy/girl twins nine months later. We used no fertility drugs and have no history of twins in either side of our families. Now I have people emailing me that I don't even know that were told about us from our friends and family. Do I feel blessed? YES ! But I have certain requirements for BIG WANTS, and NEEDS. 1) No sin uncleansed 2) Always pray with two or more 3) MOST IMPORTANT! God has answered some of my prayers. Thank you. While my prayer petitions and worries have been many, I did not notice right away that some of my prayers where indeed answered. I prayed for peace will I am going through such desperate times and I have been given peace. I prayed for help and God sent not one but two wonderful people who have helped me while I am going through all of this and I prayed for healing of my depression and I believe I am healed. I thought I was at the end of my rope for so long and now I look forward to each day even though I know each day is a struggle. I am able to trust in God more readily now. Thank you, My Lord and My God.

yes I believe he works very mysteriously and it is not for us to know why he create most events. Yes he answers our prayers according to his will- all the time sometimes he answers it not the way I want it - it take me some time to discover why. I believe he sends angels to guide and guard over me as well all the time. I was involved in the latest accident , the car hit a boulder, spun and skid thrice and turtle over- it was totally demolished but I escaped with no scrapes, no blood and a life I begin to treasure once again- I believe in his Presence and share a mutual hope in our reunion as the ultimate goal why he answers our prayers

God answers our prayers. When you pray call Him "Father" and when you finish say: Thanks Father for listening. Thanks for let them happen". If you have faith, they will.

yes there is a god and yes he does answer and grant your prayer requests, he did mine again.my daughter and her husband just got their car she git a full time job at the daycare.and ny sisters requests were answered too.also i just got a job that i start in the morning . its not the job i wanted, its a better job. i,m sorry that someone thinks i don,t have faith or that i don,t believe in god, because i do have faith and i do believe in god. i,m just having a lot of medical , finanical . and other problems . which were getting the best of me. and i guess i didn,t think they were being answered fast enough or the way i wanted them to.so to every one i do love the lord our god and his son jesus christ and i pray for you all too. god bless each and every one of you. thank you lord amen

If you don't think that God answers prayers then you will never have any prayers ansered. Your first error is that you have liite faith in the power of God. Once you find your self believing in and loving the Lord with all your heart then maybe he would answer a prayer for you. He saved my life before I turned my life to those above.

I feel that each and every person must find there own connection with the Lord. When I was in serious trouble and was very sad he brought someone very special back to me. I prayed to Jesus and Mary every day. I would sit for an hour sometimes praying and crying for them to help me. Well, Jesus and Mary did and they will always be the priority my life from now on.

No! God does not answer prayer as we understand it. If we think God will answer our requests (prayer) than we also believe that god can be coerced (compelled by threats). If we pray thinking God will answer our prayers and the prayer is not answered, we think we did not pray long enough, or hard enough, or we didn't use the right words. That puts the power of granting prayer requests in our hands and we become God. Our prayers are for the adoration, worship and glorification of God and for strengthening our spirituality. I would love to hear an intelligent rebuttal on this.

The Tapestry of My Life. My life is but a weaving between my Lord and me. I cannot choose the colors He works so steadily. Oft times He weaves in sorrow and I, foolish pride, forget he sees the upper and I, the underside. Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly, will God unroll the tapestry and explain the reason why. The dark threads are as needed in the Weaver's skillful hand, as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern he has planned. I Praise you Lord God for sending me this message by author who is unknown. It does answer a lot of questions.

god des answer prayers but i have found out that if i pray daily go to mass and communion my life is perfect.i don't have to ask for anything extra. absolutely nothing goes wrong. but if i were just to ask for favors without remembering him daily-i doubt everything would be that smooth. he doesn't want us to get too attached to material things and i personally believe that if you don't enjoy praying for the sake of praying and honoring god-what would you do if you did gain heaven? you would be bored because you were only praying for THINGS on this earth not praying to be better-we all could be saints you know-if everything that came to us we didn't grumble about and did the absolute best we could. there are millions and millions of saints who are not cannonized and anyone of us can be just that a saint if we obey the laws he gave us and we actually go beyond what we have to do. remember what christ said about which commandments meant the most-i beleive it boiled down to love god and love your neighbor as yourself.and you won't really have to ask for anything-he knows what you want and what you need you don't have to tell him but that doesn't mean you don'thave to pray

Yes, through the years God has answered many prayers for me. But most recently my prayers that my husband would convert are coming true. My husband will take confirmation on Easter!

Ofcourse He does. I believe that God is always listening and knows that we are in trouble before we cry out for His help. I firmly believe that even though we ask God to answer our prayers He expects us to do something about it as well. For example I prayed so hard that I pass an exam in a subject I was not doing well in. I knew I had to act as well, so in the limited time span I had I studied as much as I could. I ended up doing much better than a pass. I knew deep down it wasn't a fluke, He helped me while I studied, and He helped me while I sat for the paper. It's amazing how we feel Him when we really need him near us. If anyone doubts that God answers prayers, I feel that is merely because people these days have forgotten how to pray.

Does God answer prayer? It depends on what you ask him! I try not to ask God to do what I want; rather, I ask Him to do what is best for me. Whatever the outcome, no matter how painful, I always eventually see how God's answer to my prayer is always what is best for me.

Yes, God does answers prayers. I have been praying on a few situations and I know that God is listening to my prayer request, but God will answer our entire request in his own time. I am discouraged that I have not seen any result on the second half of a prayer request that I have prayed for, but I know it will be coming soon. jesus said anything you ask of the father in my name shall be given to you. to not believe this is to call jesus a liar. he definitly will answer all prayers. he has anwered mine, not all at once but in the time in which i was ready to receive them but nothing is impossible with god.

Yes! God does answers prayers! I've been worried about not being able to make my credit card payments since I've been out of work. I prayed to Jesus for help and left the problem in his hands and the next day the credit card company called and after explaining my situation, the customer rep explained to me that I had credit protection on my card and could active the service immediately. I had forgotten about signing up for this service. When this memory comes to mind I'm moved to say I Love You Jesus! Thank You!

Yes he does!! My son was diagnosed with testicular cancer 2 weeks ago and I prayed that it had not spread to any other organs. We received the news last Friday that it had not and I truly believe that it was our prayers to God and St. Jude that helped him. He will have to endure 3 months of chemo but that we will take a day at a time. Thank you our dear lord and savior and St. Jude. Please give us strength to endure these next few months of chemo.
