WordLogic has formed an alliance with an affiliated company to co-develop an integrated Electronic Personal Learning Center.
The Electronic Personal Learning Center will be comprised of a suite of seamless software applications that will allow students access to data through local networks, wide area networks and the Internet.
The first stage of the development project will be to integrate the WordLogic Predictive Keyboard on a tablet touch screen PC which will allow students to input text with unparalleled speed and accuracy.
The development team will be lead by Mark Dostie, WordLogic's Chief Technology Officer and Dr. David Stirling, Professor of Kinesiology and Education. Dr. Stirling specializes in the growth and development of children.
Dr. Stirling became aware of the power of the WordLogic Predictive Keyboard when he installed it on a tablet PC for several of his more challenged students. "The results were impressive for these children. A number of students improved to 2-3 grade levels in reading and comprehension" states Dr. Stirling.
