Announced February 25, 2010, LG Electronics is introducing new ways to simplify the procurement, sale and operation of digital signage networks. In order to address the problem that digital signage projects are still relatively complex and often confusing for the majority of distributors, integrators and end users, LG has coined the motto: "simple to buy, simple to sell, simple to use" - LG's mantra at the 2010 industry expo for digital signage. LG is introducing a variety of new digital signage products, ranging from solid state digital media players and displays built for high ambient light environments to large-format flat panel arrays designed for public venue advertising and information display applications. Designed to conveniently display content including images, movies, audio and other file types in full HD, LG's NC-1000 digital media player is an example of the company's move to providing more solutions-based products. The digital media player is built on an open-architecture platform, enabling compatibility with many popular software providers' applications.
