Wedding

Wedding photography is one of the largest markets in professional photography and one of the most challenging for an amateur to undertake.

The best photographers hold prewedding consultations in order to develop a list of special people and shots that the bride and groom want. Consultation with the photography team during the day is important. A sensitive photographer will be able to sense relationships and assess what remains to do.

Good pictures are the goal, but the ceremony should be covered as unobtrusively as possible. At the same time, it is important to be firm in directing the bride and groom in special places around the ceremony.

A complete portfolio includes natural shots of the ceremony and events that follow, but it also contains posed shots in the studio.

When you attend a wedding, bring a card with your e-mail address. Many photographers will have a sign-up list for digital downloads of photos. But more important than that are your fellow guests. Stay in touch with the people you see taking pictures, so that you can swap your best shots with each other.

Don't expect photos to turn out well without flash. Even if the pictures look good through your viewfinder, it is likely that there will be blur. If you want a good shot of the indoor events, you are going to have to get up close and use flash.
