BizFon introduced its new VoIP (Voice-over-Internet-Protocol) telephone system at the Spring 2004 VON Conference and Expo. The system, which consists of a BizFon 6800 IP-based key switch (IP-KTS) and the new SIP-based BizTouch IP3 phones, makes the functions and features of a big business telecommunications system an affordable solution for small office businesses and office-at-home entrepreneurs. The small business market in the U.S. numbers over 5 million firms with more than 500,000 start-ups each year.
Exclusive to the BizFon system is BizLink, a pre-programmed support hotline which enables any user in need of assistance to simply dial extension 299 and be directly connected to BizFon's Customer Care Center. Going beyond conventional user support, the Care Center can also remotely analyze, configure, and support the system via the Internet.
Standard system features include voice mail, auto attendant, multi-line conferencing, forwarding, remote access, and a host of other advanced functions. The standard 6800 switch supports up to six incoming lines and 32 IP and/or virtual extensions. It can be expanded to handle up to 24 incoming lines and 64 IP and/or virtual extensions. Prices for the BizFon 6800 IP-KTS switch start under $3,000.
BizFon designs, manufactures, and markets advanced telecommunication systems for small business and SOHO customers.
