Hickee is a hip new urban scarf with the street smarts of New York. Hickee scarves feature a simple, clean-cut design with top quality fabrics. There are two styles available in either fidelio velvet or fleece.
Hickee is more than a fun fashion statement, it's also practical winter wear. Each Hickee scarf blends sophisticated outer fabrics with a warm inside layer of Polartec fleece to keep your neck warm, yet stylish. Each Hickee scarf is devilishly simple and easily snaps in the back.
"The goal was to create a scarf that is urban and sophisticated yet warm and easy to put on," says designer Jacki Easlick, who conceived of the Hickee concept and was responsible for the innovative Hickee scarf brand.
Traditionally, winter accessories have placed functionality over fashion. Hickee is the first scarf product that blends practicality with modern, minimalist aesthetics, says Easlick.
"The Hickee brand name and logo is an irreverent wink at the high school 'love bite on the neck,'" says brand manager David Vogler. "We wanted to position the Hickee brand as a hip alternative to traditional boring scarves. Being associated with something sexy and forbidden is part of the Hickee appeal. A Hickee indicates a mark on your neck and it's fun and easy to remember."
Hickee scarves are designed and sold in New York City and they are available in West Michigan at these select boutiques: Kimberly's in Rockford MI, Alle Rue No. 133 in Saugatuck MI, and Ripe in Grand Rapids, MI.
