Quebec singer Giorgia Fumanti made her U.S. TV debut when she performed the Canadian National Anthem at the NHL All-Star Game in Dallas on January 24th. "It was a huge honour for me, not only to represent my adopted home of Canada but also to perform at a major U.S. sporting event like the NHL All-Star Game," said Giorgia Fumanti.
Originally from Italy, Giorgia has been living in Quebec where she recorded her upcoming album From My Heart due out on EMI/Manhattan Records on March 6, 2007.
Giorgia Fumanti's recent tour with famed tenor Jose Carreras across Southeast Asia where she had a number one record foretells the promise of this new singer who is bringing her exceptional voice to the U.S.
Ms. Fumanti will make her second U.S. television appearance for the PBS special Heavenly Voices in March.
The special will feature performances of songs off From My Heart.
