The most complete Bowflex home exercise gym ever made by Nautilus is being introduced this week as the company continues its fast pace of innovation to satisfy a growing appetite for high-quality fitness and training equipment.
Designed for people who prefer working out on state-of-the-art home fitness equipment, the Bowflex Ultimate 2 strength gym uses Power Rod technology to provide users more than 95 exercises without any cable changes -- the equivalent of an entire gym full of strength equipment in a single, compact unit for the home.
"This product was developed because customers tell us they want as many exercises as possible from a single piece of equipment that they can use quickly and efficiently," said Tim Hawkins of Nautilus. "We designed this product to look great in high traffic areas of homes where people prefer to exercise. It also supports optimal human exercise mechanics, which is a growing priority to assure that people can perform physical exercise for a lifetime."
Those familiar with other models of Bowflex strength gyms will notice its overall redesign, including a new natural-motion squat exercise that can be performed with this unit, along with a preacher curl and rowing capability. They also will note this is the first bench-style Bowflex strength gym with a no-cable-change feature. Optional features include an abdominal attachment and a built-in DVD player for training or entertainment purposes.
The Bowflex Ultimate 2 strength system retails for $2,199.
