Neopost, the worldwide provider of mailing, addressing, document handling and logistics systems, is supporting the United States Postal Service (USPS) program promoting PostageNow, the secure, fast and cost-effective way to pay for postage refills electronically.
PostageNow, developed by the USPS in 2001, lets users make Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments automatically through their postage meters. Mailing professionals no longer have to wait for a check to be issued and processed to access postage. PostageNow, provides the flexibility and speed needed for companies to receive postage quickly to help grow their business.
Reliable, secure and flexible, PostageNow allows customers to pay using either ACH Debit, ACH Credit, or Federal Wire. ACH Debit allows customers to move payments from their own chosen bank account in just seconds for immediate access to postage. ACH Credit provides customers with the flexibility they need for large volume mailings, and it is the most cost-effective option for customers with no prior arrangement with their meter company. Federal Wire is the "sure thing" PostageNow option, always accepted by any meter company, and is particularly ideal for transfers over $25,000.
According to Carl Amacker, vice president of marketing for Neopost, "We are thrilled to be working closely with the USPS on their campaign for PostageNow. Assisting customers in switching to this business-wise, cost-effective solution allows us to show how simple replenishing postage can be."
"Deployment of PostageNow is a real benefit for meter users," said Rod Hopkinson, USPS assistant treasurer. "We are delighted to provide yet another efficient postage payment solution."
Neopost provides mail, folding/inserting and mail accounting solutions.
