Each permitted cabin bag can weigh up to 15 kg, and the traveler must be able to lift and carry it.
Measure your bag packed, including bulging pockets, handles and wheels. Check the allowance shown for each passenger and flight. Seat selection and a large-cabin-bag entitlement are separate items to verify; use the booking's explicit allowance rather than assuming a particular seat includes it.

Put three deadlines in the itinerary
easyJet's check-in page lists online check-in from 30 days until two hours before departure. Its bag-drop times vary by airport. The boarding guidance states that gates close 30 minutes before departure. Recheck the airport-specific table and the booking before travel.
- Check in and obtain the pass in an accepted format. easyJet recommends its mobile app or a clear printout and warns against displaying a PDF scan on the phone.
- Record when your bag drop closes, if you have hold luggage. Plan to finish well before the cutoff.
- Allow for security, border procedures where relevant, and the walk to the gate. Reach the gate before boarding closes.
- After a booking change, follow the instruction to check in again and obtain the updated pass.
A short airport transfer on a map may take longer when rail service is limited, a terminal shuttle is needed or you have luggage. Check the actual timetable for your departure date before choosing an early or late flight.
Treat connections as their own decision
If you are building separate flights into a larger journey, establish the connection arrangement before buying. easyJet's boarding guidance describes collecting luggage and checking in again for onward travel; a separately sold connection product may have its own conditions. Read those terms and identify who provides assistance if the first flight runs late.
