NOT FEELING GOOD? Take two tablets like Moses did!
Dear St. Anthony, it is still as St. Peter said: The devil prowls about, lion-like, looking for someone to devour. I confess that I don't always resist him; I sometimes toy with temptation. St. Anthony, Disperser of Devils, remind me of my duty to avoid all occasions of sin. May I always pray in temptation that I may remain loyal to my Lord Jesus. Pray for my other intentions, please. (Name them.) Saint Anthony

Help me to forgive the people that have hurt me and I ask for forgiveness for all the people I have hurt knowingly and unknowingly. Help me to have a wonderful and a beautiful day.mmmm
Saint Theresa,The Little Flower,Let a shower of roses fall,let a shower of roses fall,let a shower of roses fall,I need your help,Amen
He who prays is certain to be saved; while he who prays not is certain to be damned. All the saints were saved, and came to be saints by praying; all the accursed souls in hell were lost through neglect of prayer; if they had prayed, it is certain that they would not have been lost. And this will be one of the greatest occasions of their anguish in hell, the thought that they might have saved themselves so easily; that they had only to beg God to help them, but that now the time is past when this could avail them (from The Necessity of Prayer). I keep praying.
You are celebrated St. Dymphna, for your goodness to others. Both in your lifetime, and even more in the ages since, you have again and again demonstrated your concern for those who are mentally disturbed or emotionally troubled. Kindly secure for me, then, some measure of your own serene love, and ask our Lord to give us a share in His life and boundless charity. Amen.
Dear St. Anthony, you recall the Gospel episode about the blind man who, partly healed, could see men "looking like walking trees." After a second laying-on of Jesus's hands, he could see perfectly. St. Anthony, Restorer of Sight to the Blind, please sharpen my spiritual vision. May I see people, not as trees or numbers, but as sons and daughters of the Most High. Help me in my pressing needs. (Name your special intentions.)

Parents' Prayer for Their Children. O God the Father of mankind, who hast given unto me these my children, and committed them to my charge to bring them up for Thee, and to prepare them for eternal life: help me with Thy heavenly grace, that I may be able to fulfil this most sacred duty and stewardship. Teach me both what to give and what to withhold; when to reprove and when to forbear; make me to be gentle, yet firm; considerate and watchful; and deliver me equally from the weakness of indulgence, and the excess of severity; and grant that, both by word and example, I may be careful to lead them in the ways of wisdom and true piety, so that at last I may, with them, be admitted to the unspeakable joys of our true home in heaven, in the company of the blessed Angels and Saints. Amen. O Heavenly Father, I commend my children to Thy care. Be Thou their God and Father; and mercifully supply whatever is lacking in me through frailty or negligence. Strengthen them to overcome the corruptions of the world, whether from within or without; and deliver them from the secret snares of the enemy. Pour Thy grace into their hearts, and strengthen and multiply in them the gifts of Thy Holy Spirit, that they may daily grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ; and so, faithfully serving Thee here, may come to rejoice in Thy presence hereafter. Amen.
Prayer for the Family. O God of goodness and mercy, to Thy fatherly guidance we commend our family, our household and all our belongings. We commit all to Thy love and keeping; do Thou fill this house with Thy blessings even as Thou didst fill the holy House of Nazareth with Thy presence. Keep far from us, above all else, the blemish of sin, and do Thou alone reign in our midst by Thy law, by Thy most holy love and by the exercise of every Christian virtue. Let each one of us obey Thee, love Thee and set himself to follow in his own life Thine example, that of Mary, Thy Mother and our Mother most loving, and that of Thy blameless guardian, Saint Joseph. Protect us and our house from all evils and misfortunes, but grant that we may be ever resigned to Thy divine will even in the sorrows which it shall please Thee to send us. Finally give unto all of us the grace to live in perfect harmony and in the fullness of love toward our neighbor. Grant that every one of us may deserve by a holy life the comfort of Thy holy Sacraments at the hour of death. O Jesus, bless us and protect us. O Mary, Mother of grace and of mercy, defend us against the wicked spirit, reconcile us with Thy Son, commit us to His keeping, that so we may be made worthy of His promises. Saint Joseph, foster-father of our Savior, guardian of His holy Mother, head of the Holy Family, intercede for us, bless us and defend our home at all times. Saint Michael, defend us against all the evil cunning of hell. Saint Gabriel, make us to understand the holy will of God. Saint Raphael, preserve us from all sickness and from every danger to our lives. Our holy Guardian Angels, keep our feet safely on the path of salvation both day and night. Our holy Patrons, pray for us before the throne of God. Yea, bless this house, O God the Father, who hast created us; O God the Son, who hast suffered for us upon the holy Cross, and Thou, O Holy Spirit, who hast sanctified us in holy Baptism. May the one God in three divine Persons preserve our bodies, purify our minds, direct our hearts and bring us all to everlasting life. Glory be to the Father, glory be to the Son, glory be to the Holy Ghost! Amen.
O Blessed St. Joseph, who did accompany Jesus and Mary in all their journeys, and who has therefore merited to be called the patron of all travelers, accompany us in this journey that we are about to undertake. Be our guide and our protector; watch over us; preserve us from all accidents and dangers to soul and body; support us in our fatigue, and aid us to sanctify it by offering it to God. Make us ever mindful that we are strangers, sojourners here below; that heaven is our true home; and help us to persevere on the straight road that leads there. We beseech thee especially to protect and aid us the last great voyage from time to eternity, so that, under thy guidance we may reach the realm of happiness and glory, there to repose eternally with thee in the company of Jesus and Mary. Amen.
Prayer to the Infant Jesus of Prague...say 3 times for 3 days...O Divine Child of Prague, still the Great Omnipotent God, I implore through thy Holy Mother's most powerful intercession and through the boundless merc of thy Omnipotent, ask God for a favorable answer to the intentions I so earnestly ask for in this Novena. O Divine Child of Prague, hear my prayer and grant my petition (here). 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary..Please answer my prayers
Thank you Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help for interceding for the health and well-being of my Dad, William and for praying to God for my petition that his biopsy results be negative, and he be free of cancer. Thank you for accepting my novena to you under your title of Perpetual Help, as well as my Rosary novenas of petition and of thanksgiving. On day 4 of 9 of the thanksgiving novena he received the good news from his doctor - his biopsy revealed his symptoms to be benign! I give thanks and praise to God for God's Divine mercy, power, healing, blessing and compassion and to you Blessed Virgin Mary for your miraculous, immaculate healing intercession and loving help. Amen. O Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke thy most powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying. O Purest Mary, O Sweetest Mary, let thy name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, O Blessed Lady, to help me whenever I call on thee, for, in all my needs, in all my temptations I shall never cease to call on thee, ever repeating thy sacred name, O what consolation, what sweetness, what confidence, what emotion fill my soul when I pronounce thy sacred name, or even only think of thee. I thank God for having given thee, for my good, so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely pronouncing thy name: let my love for thee prompt me ever to hail thee, Mother of Perpetual Help.
Dear Lord: I know this is a very difficult time for all. Please strengthen our love. Amen

The Word of the Lord: "Ask, you will receive; seek, you shall find; knock, and the door will be opened to you." (Matt. 7:7) Lord God, I will continue to ask, to seek and to knock, as Christ, your Son, instructed us. With faith in your love of us and with confidence in our Savior's promises I keep asking, seeking, and knocking in His name for the favor I so much need. Amen
Good St. Dymphna, you placed all your hope in Christ's promises, and sacrificed even your life in that hope. The Lord, God, rewarded your constancy by making your name known and loved over many centuries by the thousands whom you have aided in time of difficulty. Please assist us now in our present necessity, and intercede before God for our intentions. Obtain for us a firm hope like your own in God's unfailing protection. Amen.
Dear St. Anthony, how tongue-tied I can be when I should be praising God and defending the oppressed. My cowardice often strikes me dumb; I am afraid to open my mouth. St. Anthony, Restorer of Speech to the Mute, release me from my fears. Teach me to praise God and to champion the rights of those unjustly treated. Please remember also all my intentions. (Name them.)
For to despise the present age, not to love transitory things, unreservedly to stretch out the mind in humility to God and our neighbor, to preserve patience against offered insults and, with patience guarded, to repel the pain of malice from the heart, to give one's property to the poor, not to covet that of others, to esteem the friend in God, on God's account to love even those who are hostile, to mourn at the affliction of a neighbor, not to exult in the death of one who is an enemy, this is the new creature whom the Master of the nations seeks with watchful eye amid the other disciples, saying:"If, then, any be in Christ a new creature, the old things are passed away. Behold all things are made new" (2 Cor. 5:17). -St. Gregory the Great

Previous prayer to St. Rita should say By the divine love which consum;ed thy heart
O Holy Patroness of those in need, St. Rita, whose pleadings before thy Divine Lord are almost irresisitble, who for thy lavishness in granting favors hast been called the Advocate of the Hopeless and even of the Impossible, St. Rita, so humble, so pure, so mortified, so patient and of such compassionate love for thy Crucified Jesus that thou couldst obtain from Him whatsoever thou askest, on account of which all confidently have recourse to thee, expecting, if not always relief, at least comfort; be propitious to our petition, showing thy power with God on behalf of thy suppliant, be lavish to us , as thou hast been in so many wonderful cases, for the greater glory of God, for the spreading of thine own devotion, and for the consolation of those who trust in thee. Prayer for those who suffer: For those who suffer, and those who cry this night, give them repose Lord, a pause in their burdens. Hear their prayers and give them the ability to hear you back. Ease their suffering Lord--especialy that of "PS" so he feels able to continue on with his life and find the purpose you have for him here on earth. Nancy

Amen.
"Together with the Synod, I earnestly call upon pastors and the whole community of the faithful to help the divorced, and with soli- citous care to make sure that they do not consider themselves as separated from the Church, for as baptized persons they can, and indeed must, share in her life. They should be encouraged to listen to the word of God, to attend the Sacrifice of the Mass, to persevere in prayer, to contibute to works of charity and to community efforts in favour of justice, to bring up their children in the Christian faith, to cultivate the spirit and practice of penance and thus implore, day by day, God's grace. Let the Church pray for them, encourage them and show herself a merciful mother, and thus sustain them in faith and hope. However, the Church reaffirms her practice, which is based upon Sacred Scripture, of not admitting to Eucharistic Communion divorced persons who have remarried. They are unable to be admitted thereto from the fact that their state and condition of life objectively contradict that union of life between Christ and the Church which is signified and effected by the Eucharist. Besides this, there is another special pastoral reason: if these people were admitted to the Eucharist, the faithful would be led into error and confusion regarding the Church's teaching about the indissolubility of marriage..." --par. 84, e) Divorced Persons Who Have Remarried. (APOSTOLIC EXHORTATION FAMILARIS CONSORTIO) REGARDING THE ROLE OF THE CHRISTIAN FAMILY IN THE MODERN WORLD... Joannes Paulus PP. II; 22 November 1981

For into your hands I commend myself, body and soul, and all that I have. Let your holy angel be with me, so that the wicked foe may have no power over me." EVENING PRAYER ""Lord God, Heavenly Father, I thank you, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son, that you have graciously kept me safe this day from all harm and danger, and pray that you would keep me safe this night. Forgive me, I pray, for all the sins I've committed today and all the evil that I have done. For into your hands I commend myself, body and soul, and all that I have. Let your holy angel be with me, so that the wicked foe may have no power over me." --Martin Luther
Most faithful St. Dymphna, you remained true to your baptismal promises to the very end. You are, therefore, honored, known, and loved after 1,400 years by people you have aided all over the world. We do not know how long or short a time is left to us of this life here, but help us in any case to be faithful to God to the end. Please gain for us the grace to live one day at a time as if each were to be our last. Amen.

May I be patient! It is so difficult to realize these trials, heartbreaking as they are, can be turned into blessings. A MEDITATION ON DETACHMENT. Give me thy grace, good Lord, To set the world at nought; To set my mind fast upon thee, And not to hang upon the blast of men's mouths; To be content to be solitary; Not to long for worldly company; Little and little utterly to cast off the world, And rid my mind of all the business thereof; Not to long to hear of any worldly things, But that the hearing of worldly fantasies may be to me displeasant; Gladly to be thinking of God; Piteously to call for his help; To lean unto the comfort of God; Busily to labour to love him; To know mine own vility and wretchedness; To humble and meeken myself under the might hand of God; To bewail my sins passed; For the purging of them, patiently to suffer adversity; Gladly to bear my purgatory here; To be joyful of tribulations; To walk the narrow way that leadeth to life; To bear the cross with Christ; To have the last thing in remembrance; To have ever afore mine eye my death that is ever at hand; To make death no stranger to me; To foresee and consider the everlasting fire of hell; To pray for pardon before the judge come; To have continually in mind the passion that Christ suffered for me; For his benefits uncessantly to give him thanks; To buy the time again that I before have lost; To abstain from vain confabulations; To eschew light foolish mirth and gladness; Recreations not necessary to cut off; Of worldly substance, friends, liberty, life and all, to set the loss at right nought, for the winning of Christ; To think my most enemies my best friends; For the brethren of Joseph could never have done him so much good with their love and favour as they did him with their malice and hatred. These minds are more to be desired of every man, than all the treasure of all the princes and kings, Christian and heathen, were it gathered and laid together all upon one heap. ~written by Saint Thomas More while a prisoner in the Tower of London, 1534.

SEEKING A MATE FOR MARRIAGE Lord, You said that it is not good for us to be alone. You made us for each other. But Lord, I find it so hard to find that mate who would be a good spouse. Help me, Lord, to put this yearning for marriage in its proper place. Lead me, Lord, to the one whom You choose for my spouse. While I wait for You to reveal Your Will in this matter, help me to know myself better. Help me to address those areas of my life which are disordered and which would interfere with my having a successful marriage. When my desire to find a spouse becomes all consuming, help me to relax and practice patience. Help me to invest in wholesome friendships which bring me closer to You and which will assist me in making such an important decision. It is so natural, Lord, to seek love. Teach me to seek You first and to learn to give love before I try to receive it. Help me to remember that whatever journey this life leads me on, You are always present, always offering companionship, and always filling my deepest need. I offer You, Lord, my loneliness and my longing for marriage. I wait for You to lead me to Your perfect Will for me in this and all things. Amen. SG
Father in heaven, I thank you for your countless favors to me today and in all my past. I am grateful for the silent inspirations of your Holy Spirit and the assistance He lends my human weakness and instability. I know my prayers and petitions are present before you, and rely confidently on your granting my requests I ask for your powerful and far-seeing goodness. I ask above all for the special favor of remaining ever faithful to the teachings of you only Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and rules with you in union with the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for all the ages to come. Amen -
Generous St. Dymphna, like all Christ's martyrs you gained this crowning grace because you prepared for it by a life of self denial. By faithfulness in smaller things you were ready for your final trial. Please teach us by your example and help to use the good things of life so that we may not miss our chance for life eternal. Help us, too, to watch and pray for ourselves an

Let us remember to Pray the Rosary every day.
The "Canticle of Mary" or "Magnificat". My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. Prayer to Saint Aloysius Gonzaga-patron of youth- Dear Christian youth, you were a faithful follower of Christ in the Society of Jesus. You steadily strove for perfection while generously serving the plague-stricken. Help our youth today who are faced with a plague of false cults and false gods. Show them how to harness their energies and to use them for their own and others' fullfillment - which willl redound to the greater glory of God. Amen.
