God the Father, I thank Thee for creating me. God the Son, I thank Thee for redeeming me. God the Holy Spirit, I thank Thee for sanctifying me; infuse into my thoughts, words and actions Thy grace, so that they may be pleasing to Thee forever. O Blessed Trinity, assist me in becoming that which Thou intended me to become when Thou created me, for in that perfection I will give Thee the glory Thou desirest of me, and in that perfection I will find my greatest joy in heaven. I RELEASE THE PAST AND BEGIN A NEW LIFE Sometimes we stay so stuck in the past, that our present life is almost nonexistent. We keep playing the tapes from the past in our mind over and over. We go over every detail of the past events, beating ourselves up about what we did or did not do. Or we spend all our time beating others up about things they did in the past. As long as you stay stuck in the past, you aren't available to live this moment to its fullest. Release the past and live your life fully today. I release the past and begin a new life. I let myself and other off the hook about things which occurred in the past. I realize I and everyone else did the best we could do with what we knew at the time. I let go of all resentment and begin to fully present in my life today. Thanks, God. And So It IS! "Whoever from now on is a fuller of Christ is a new creation; old things have passed away." THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY!!!3/5/03 GOD IS WITH ME IN EVERY EXPERIENCE God is everywhere present. Wherever you are, God is. Therefore, whatever experiences you go through, God is with you. God is with you when you travel. God is with you when you are in meetings. God is with you when you are job hunting. God is with you when you have surgery. God is with you through the good times. God is with you in the so called bad times. With God with you always, there is nothing to fear. God is with me every experience. Everywhere I am, God is. Whatever I am experiencing. God is with me through it and only good can come from it. God is with me always, therefore I fear nothing and no one. I am always divinely protected by God's presence. Thanks, God. And So IT IS! You may experience this when you want To comfort someone who is having a challenge. Perhaps you want to express your feelings to someone who you feel has hurt you. Do not rely on yourself for the right words to say. Ask God to direct your words and actions. Be open and receptive to your words and actions being God's words and actions. I rely on God for the right words to say and the right things to do. I trust God to direct my words and actions. I am open and receptive to my words and actions being God's. God is directing every word I speak and everything I do. Thanks, God. And So It IS! THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!!!!3/7/03 I LET GO AND LET GOD'S WILL FOR ME BE DONE What is your heart's desire? What is it you want more than anything in your life? Have you asked God for it? More importantly, have you let it go and let God's will for you be done? God's will for you is so much greater than your will. God knows no limitations. God knows how every piece of the puzzle of your life fits together perfectly for your highest good and greatest joy. Relinquish your will to God and see what wonderful experiences God has in store for you. I relinquish my will to God. I let go and let God's will for me be done. Father God, I am having a difficult time right now and need your help. Now that I have completed my 3rd chemo treatment and will be having my surgery to remove this lump from my breast on 3/25, I am feeling overwelmed. I don't want to undergo any more chemo but I know I have 3 more treatments and radiation after surgery. I don't know if to have the surgeon remove just the lump or my entire breast in the event the tumor is starburst rooted in my chest wall. I can't stand the thought of another chemo. I am nauseaed of just the thought of it. I can't stand the taste in my mouth or the side affects that I expereience. Please I pray that I make the right decisions. Give me strenth and courage to complete this journey. I ask this thru Jesus Christ Our Lord Amen and Amen.

ST. JOSEPH - Ever blessed and glorious Joseph, kind and loving father, and helpful friend of all in sorrow! You are the good father and protector of orphans, the defender of the defenseless, the patron of those in need and sorrow. Look kindly on my request. My sins have drawn down on me the just displeasure of my God, and so I am surrounded with unhappiness. To you, loving guardian of the Family of Nazareth, do I go for help and protection. Listen, then, I beg you, with fatherly concern, to my earnest prayers, and obtain for me the favors I ask. I ask it by the infinite mercy of the eternal Son of God, which moved Him to take our nature and to be born into this world of sorrow. I ask it by the weariness and suffering you endured when you found no shelter at the inn of Bethlehem for the holy Virgin, nor a house where the Son of God could be born. I ask it by your joy at finding Him in the Temple, and by the comfort you found at Nazareth, while living in the company of the Child Jesus. I ask it by the wonderful submission He showed in His obedience to you. I ask it by the perfect love and conformity you showed in accepting the Divine order to depart from this life, and from the company of Jesus and Mary. I ask it by the joy which filled your soul, when the Redeemer of the world, triumphant over death and hell, entered into the possession of His kingdom and led you into it with special honors. I ask it through Mary's glorious Assumption, and through that endless happiness you have with her in the presence of God. O good father! I beg you, by all your sufferings, sorrows, and joys, to hear me and obtain for me what I ask. You formed us in your own likeness and set us over the whole world to serve you, our Creator, and to rule over all creatures. Even when we disobeyed you, and lost your friendship, you did not abandon us to the power of death, but helped all of us to seek and find You. Again and again You offered a covenant to us, and through the prophets taught us to hope for salvation. -Father, You so loved the world that in the fullness of time you sent your only Son to be our Savior. He was conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, a creature like us in all things but sin. To the poor, LORD JESUS proclaimed the good news of salvation, and to those in sorrow, joy. -In fulfillment of Your will, He gave himself up to death but by rising from the dead, He destroyed death and restored life. And that we might live no longer for ourselves but for Him, He sent the Holy Spirit from You, Father, as his first gift to those who believe, to complete His work on earth and to bring us the fullness of grace. - God, on the first Pentecost, You instructed the hearts of those who believed in You by the light of the Holy Spirit; under the inspiration of the same Spirit, give us a taste for what is right and true and a continuing sense of His presence and power; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Prayer to St. Benedict. O glorious St. Benedict, sublime model of all virtues, pure vessel of God's grace! Behold me, humbly kneeling at thy feet. I implore thy loving heart to pray for me before the throne of God. To thee I have recourse in all the dangers which daily surround me. Shield me against my enemies, inspire me to imitate thee in all things. May thy blessing be with me always, so that I may shun whatever God forbids and avoid the occasions of sin. Graciously obtain for me from God those favors and graces of which I stand so much in need, in the trials, miseries and afflictions of life. Thy heart was always so full of love, compassion, and mercy toward those who were afflicted or troubled in any way. Thou didst never dismiss without consolation and assistance anyone who had recourse to thee. I therefore invoke thy powerful intercession, in the confident hope that thou wilt hear my prayers and obtain for me the special grace and favor I so earnestly implore (mention it), if it be for the greater glory of God and the welfare of my soul.
