Father, I am a mere human just passing through this valley of tears, determined to reach the Promised Land. The road ahead is not smooth, the temptations are too much to bear on my own, and your punishment too just to bear thinking of. Permit my tears to wash away my sins, and your Holy Spirit to guide me on my way along the path to Your everlasting Kingdom. First, where I was on September 11, 8:46 a.m. Packing my backpack to leave second hour, my teacher is called out of the room,she comes back in crying and she would not tell the class what happened. W left second hour, I went up to this kid I knew and asked him what was going on and he told me that a plane crashed into some governer building in New York... At first I thought " oh nothing bad happened?" But then I relized it was bigger than I thought. As I enter third hour I sit, the teacher comes and and says that America has attacked, that two planes were flewn right into the WTC building's.... We bowed our heads for silence, then we talked about it more..... Still I had no clue how big or terrible of what happened. I left third hour and went into fourth where the teacher just sat there. The kids in my class were leaving one by one, going home. I was the third to leave, I got home and turned on the news and saw how dermatic what happened was... Dear God, may we bow our heads for a minute and remember those that died on sepember 11, let us pray fo the families and those that also died... May we move futher into our life without haveing to worry. May we put this tragic experence in the past. God bless all victims in the September 11 attacks..
