The 2018 Acura ILX sport sedan arrives at Acura dealerships beginning October 5, 2017 with a new Special Edition featuring aero body components, 18-inch wheels and unique badging. The 2018 ILX starts with at $28,100, with the new Special Edition coming in at $28,900.
For 2018, the Acura ILX adds a Special Edition trim, which includes 18-inch wheels, side sills and a rear spoiler. The Special Edition adds to standard equipment on all ILX models including Acura JewelEye LED headlights, an 8-way power driver's seat, multi-view rearview camera, auto on/off headlights, one-touch power moonroof, Bluetooth HandsFree Link, 5-inch Multi-View Display, keyless smart entry with push-button start, security system, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. In addition, AcuraWatch active safety and driver-assistive technologies are available on all ILX models.
Both ILX A-Spec-equipped trims—Premium and Tech Plus—feature sporty side sill garnishes, a decklid spoiler, front fog lights, 18-inch 10-spoke machined alloy wheels, and exterior A-Spec badging in three locations: left and right front fenders and trunk lid. Inside, A-Spec trims enhance the cabin appeal with a black interior color scheme including a black headliner, perforated black Lux Suede seat inserts, red instrument illumination, exclusive gray interior stitching and aluminum brake and throttle pedals.
ILX Premium grades include leather seating surfaces, Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitor, HD Radio and Aha, driver's two-position memory seat, front passenger 4-way power seat, 8-inch upper display, 7-inch On-Demand Multi-Use Display touch screen, HomeLink and more. Tech Plus grades add AcuraWatch as standard equipment, as well as a color TFT multi-information display, AcuraLink, Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition and AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic Rerouting.
All 2018 Acura ILX models are powered by a 2.4-liter direct-injected DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine with a Sequential SportShift 8-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) with paddle shifters. The ILX produces 201 peak horsepower (SAE net) and 180 lb.-ft. peak torque (SAE net) and has an EPA fuel economy rating of 25 mpg city/35 highway/29 combined.
