PURPOSE
Make a small, useful contribution while letting the couple, guests and hired
photographer enjoy and document the day. Follow the couple's and venue's rules.
This is a guest checklist, not a professional coverage contract or shot list.

BEFORE THE DAY
[ ] Charge phone and check space for new images
[ ] Clean lens according to the phone's care instructions
[ ] Practice focus, brightness and flash controls on your phone
[ ] Ask which moments are phone-free and follow those requests
[ ] Confirm preferred upload method and who may view the pictures

DURING THE DAY
[ ] Stay clear of aisles, sightlines and the photographer's working space
[ ] Keep requests for posed pictures brief and voluntary
[ ] Check frame edges, background and space around faces
[ ] Hold the phone steadily; wait until a long capture finishes
[ ] Remember that moving people may blur even with a steady camera
[ ] Use flash only where permitted and when helpful
[ ] Put the phone away when making a picture would disrupt the moment

AFTER THE DAY
[ ] Keep original files before editing
[ ] Select strong, distinct moments instead of sending every near-duplicate
[ ] Check focus, expressions and private details in the background
[ ] Ask before substantial appearance changes or invented image details
[ ] Send original/full-size files where the chosen service permits
[ ] Download one transferred file and check expected pixel dimensions
[ ] Review access permissions before sharing a gallery link
[ ] Wait for permission before public posting; check guests' preferences
[ ] Obtain appropriate permission for pictures of children
[ ] Add helpful names/context when the couple may need them
