Concentration reduction = (influent - effluent) / influent x 100, where comparable and influent is nonzero.
Fictional example: (200 - 20) / 200 x 100 = 90%.
Load (kg/day) = concentration (mg/L) x flow (m3/day) x 0.001.
Fictional example: 20 x 1000 x 0.001 = 20 kg/day; double flow gives 40 kg/day.
