PHONE INTERRUPTION AND RECOVERY TEST RECORD Yenra | https://yenra.com/teleph/tester.html Prepared October 9, 2026 Purpose: define one repeatable application task and interruption, then record observations against an approved requirement. This is a planning aid, not RF connection guidance. Use authorized lab equipment, test accounts/content, and the actual instrument documentation and lab isolation procedure. Case ID / author / date: Requirement and revision: Handset model / firmware / application build: Instrument / software / installed options: Network configuration / test subscription identifier (avoid personal data): Task / test file / expected file hash: Initial screen, account, battery and application state: Baseline behavior with no interruption: Interruption event / trigger timing / answered or rejected: Expected retained state: Recovery definition (first useful event): Allowed recovery time (seconds) and source of this requirement: Other pass/fail criteria: Clock synchronization or measured offset / timestamp uncertainty: Evidence to capture and where it will be retained: Cleanup and reset steps: For each run record: Run ID / actual configuration deviations: Task start time: Interruption arrival time: Service release time: First useful recovery time: Recovery interval = recovery time - release time (seconds): Retained state / retries / duplicates / error messages: Completed artifact and integrity check: Separate verdicts: timing / state retention / integrity: Evidence filenames: Cleanup completed / next action: FICTIONAL EXAMPLE -- NOT AN INSTRUMENT OR PHONE MEASUREMENT Rule invented for teaching: resume within 3.0 seconds of call release, keep completed progress, and verify the finished file against its expected hash. Transfer begins at 0.0 s; incoming call arrives and is answered at 5.0 s; call releases at 15.0 s; useful transfer resumes at 18.4 s. Recovery: 18.4 - 15.0 = 3.4 s. Timing fails by 0.4 s. Progress retention and final file hash pass in this invented scenario. Replace this threshold with the actual product requirement for a real test. Report repeated runs individually. Change one condition at a time. Preserve the distinction between application, signaling and RF evidence. Redact private account information before sharing a report.
