Editorial starting examples (not kitchen-tested universal recipes): White tea: 2 g / 200 mL / about 80 C (176 F) / 3 minutes. Plain rooibos or honeybush: 2 g / 250 mL / freshly boiled water / 5 minutes. Use suitable heat-safe equipment and let a sip cool before tasting. Double leaf and water for the same ratio; do not double time automatically. Immediate iced rooibos/honeybush example: steep 4 g in 250 mL hot water according to product directions, strain, then top up to 500 mL total with cold drinking water. Makes two 250 mL portions before ice; no storage-life claim. Note ice, milk or sweetener additions when comparing results. Repeat the preferred version before changing another variable.
