Content inventory instructions ============================== Source: https://yenra.com/strategic-content-management/ Prepared October 4, 2026. Open content-inventory.csv in a spreadsheet app using UTF-8 and comma delimiters. Treat content_id and path as text. Keep dates in YYYY-MM-DD form. The supplied rows are fictional examples, not an audit of a real website. Replace or remove examples before using the file for your own work. Use one row per existing page or important document. Keep IDs unique and stable. Record the reader's task, evidence of a problem, accountable owner and action. Actions: keep, rewrite, combine, retire. Record the reason for the decision. Review links and records obligations before retiring or combining content. An action is proposed until the owner approves and the public result is checked. Use review_due for the next review, not as evidence that a review happened. Fictional 30-page planning example: 12 keep + 10 rewrite + 5 combine + 3 retire. Six hours/week x 12 weeks = 72 hours; reserve 18, leaving 54 planned hours. Six rewrites x 5 hours + three consolidation tasks x 8 hours = 54 hours. Consolidation tasks can affect multiple source pages. Four rewrites remain queued. Replace these estimates with the team's actual capacity and observed effort.
