WORKED EXAMPLE (INVENTED ASSUMPTIONS)
P=600 W; H=6 hours/day; D=30 days; F=0.50; R=$0.20/kWh.
0.600 x 6 x 30 x 0.50 = 54 kWh.
54 x $0.20 = $10.80.
At F=1 over the same schedule: 108 kWh and $21.60.
The 50% fraction is a scenario assumption, not typical performance.
