PURPOSE
Use this editable record to discuss a replacement with a cushion supplier.
It records the furniture; it is not a cutting pattern or a finished order.
Use the chosen supplier's measurement method and final drawing. Resolve
allowances, tolerances and unusual shapes before ordering.

BEFORE MEASURING
Gather a tape measure, model/receipt details and photographs. Remove a
loose cushion only as allowed by the furniture instructions. Measure the
usable furniture boundaries. Old cushions may be stretched or compressed;
record them as supporting evidence rather than the sole specification.
Choose ONE unit for every measurement: inches [ ] or centimeters [ ].

EXAMPLE OF A QUESTION TO RESOLVE
A fictional seat is 24 inches wide at the front, 22 at the rear, and
23 deep. A '24-inch square' cushion description does not resolve the
taper or depth. Ask the supplier for a drawing or template specification.
These numbers are illustrative, not recommended cushion dimensions.
