FICTIONAL WORKED EXAMPLE
A report says a new variant completed a flight test, a customer received approval for a possible purchase, and delivery is expected in a later year.
Established: the stated flight-test and approval milestones.
Still pending in this report: a completed delivery and introduction into service.
Useful summary: A test milestone has occurred; a purchase has been approved at one stage; delivery remains a forecast.
Avoid merging those events into a claim that the customer now operates the equipment.

FICTIONAL PACKAGE ARITHMETIC
100 rockets plus training and support, total 20 million currency units.
20,000,000 / 100 = 200,000 per listed rocket as an allocation of the entire package.
This does not isolate a rocket's price. Compare only consistently defined scope, year, quantity, and cost measures.
