YENRA — INDOOR CONNECTION LOG Guide: https://yenra.com/indoor-coverage-of-5g-signals/ Prepared October 12, 2026. This is a blank observation aid, not a speed target. PURPOSE Separate a cellular reception issue, a local Wi-Fi issue and an application issue. Keep this file locally. Remove precise location/account details before sharing. SETUP Device/model and firmware: Carrier and plan (no account number): Gateway model and firmware, if used: Test application/service and endpoint: Path: phone cellular / gateway Ethernet / gateway Wi-Fi / other: Background traffic that remains active: Data allowance checked: HOW TO COMPARE 1. Use the same device, test service, duration and endpoint where possible. 2. For a phone cellular test, disable Wi-Fi, then restore normal settings afterward. 3. For a gateway, compare Ethernet where supported with Wi-Fi close to it. 4. Compare two or three safe positions allowed by the installation guide. Maintain ventilation; allow the connection to settle after moving equipment. 5. Repeat at a busy time. Record failed runs and actual application symptoms. 6. Run only enough tests to answer the question; tests can consume significant data. COPY THIS BLOCK FOR EACH RUN Run ID: Date/time and timezone: Simple room/position label (avoid a full address in a shared log): Gateway position and orientation: Test path: Download (Mbps): Upload (Mbps): Idle latency (ms; specify round-trip if applicable): Latency during load (ms; describe upload/download load): Packet loss (%; leave blank if unavailable; record method): Radio mode/band, if displayed: RSRP (dBm), RSRQ (dB), SINR (dB), if available; record LTE/NR field: Application tested and outcome: Dropout duration, if observed (seconds): What changed from the prior run: Other conditions or failures: INTERPRETATION Strong Ethernet plus weak distant Wi-Fi suggests a local Wi-Fi investigation. Both paths worsening together suggests checking the common gateway/network path. One application failing while others work calls for application-specific checking. These patterns guide investigation; they do not prove a particular fault. Compare radio readings only with their device/mode/field definitions. SUPPORT SUMMARY Repeatable symptom: Dates and times affected: Comparisons performed: Change that helped: Remaining question for provider: Source context: this worksheet implements the guide's controlled comparison method. Consult the gateway/device manual for placement, settings and measurement meanings.
