YENRA MORTGAGE RECORD CHECKLIST Reviewed October 6, 2026 | United States Guide: https://yenra.com/countrywide-home-loans-website/ Purpose: Trace old Countrywide paperwork to the company servicing a loan now. Keep this sheet private. Use an account suffix, not a full loan number. Keep identity documents and full account records in secure storage. This checklist does not change payment instructions or pause obligations. IDENTIFY THE LOAN Property reference / original loan date / lender: Later refinance or payoff papers / date / where stored: Most recent statement date / servicer name / account suffix: Recent bank payment date / amount ($) / recipient: Current payment due date / amount ($): Official servicer contact verified independently: BUILD THE TRAIL (REPEAT FOR EACH TRANSFER) Old servicer / new servicer: Notice date / effective servicing-transfer date: Old servicer stops accepting payments on: New servicer starts accepting payments on: New account suffix / verified payment instructions: How and when the transfer was confirmed independently: Autopay enrollment or bank bill-pay changes needed: First payment posting / bank withdrawal / confirmation reference: First new statement checked / discrepancy: KEEP ROLES DISTINCT Original lender made the loan. Owner holds it. Servicer handles the account. A loan-owner notice alone does not establish a new payment address. Bank of America completed its Countrywide purchase July 1, 2008; the current servicer for a particular loan depends on that loan's subsequent records. IF RECORDS ARE MISSING [ ] Gather latest known statement, transfer letters and bank payment records. [ ] Check for refinance, payoff or other documents explaining a change. [ ] Use verified servicer support or official lookup to investigate gaps. CFPB owner and servicer lookup guidance: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/ask-cfpb/how-can-i-tell-who-owns-my-mortgage-en-214/ ASK A SPECIFIC QUESTION Issue / relevant dates / expected result: Supporting statement or payment-record copies: Requested information or correction: Correct designated address for information requests or notices of error: Date sent / delivery evidence / response / next step: The request address may differ from the payment address. Retain originals. Verify the current address before sending sensitive account details. FICTIONAL EXAMPLE A borrower has a 2006 Countrywide folder, a recent Servicer A statement and verified notices transferring servicing to Servicer B on November 1. Confirm B's payment instructions, review automated payments and check the first B statement. A and B are placeholders, not actual company recommendations.
