Application documentation example — fictional definition version 1.0
Guide: https://yenra.com/automatic-application-documentation/
Requires Python 3.10+ standard library; no installation or network access.
Read code and run in an extracted test folder:
  python build.py
  python tests.py
  python app.py
Open reference.html in a browser. build.py writes that file only. app.py reads
definition.json and request.json and reports acceptance or raises an error.
The JSON is a small custom vocabulary, NOT JSON Schema or OpenAPI. The example
validates text/integer fields and generates their reference from the same source.
It does not implement authentication, storage, a web API or production security.
To try a breaking change in a disposable copy, set quantity maximum to 3 and
version to 1.1, rebuild, then validate the existing quantity-4 request. It fails.
The supplied tests do this in memory and leave the original files unchanged.
Release checklist: review definition; identify affected consumers; rebuild;
test accepted and rejected input; inspect rendered reference; update task guides;
confirm audience restrictions; release matching versions; log owner and date.
