DuPont announces global price increase

DuPont Titanium Technologies today announced a global price increase for DuPont Ti-Pure titanium dioxide grades sold into the paper industry.

Effective Oct. 1, 2003, or, as permitted by contract, prices for RPS Vantage titanium dioxide for paper and RPD Vantage titanium dioxide for paper will increase by four cents per pound in the U.S. and six cents per pound ($C) in Canada.

Effective Oct. 1, 2003, or, as permitted by contract, European prices for RPS Vantage titanium dioxide for paper and RPD-2 titanium dioxide for paper will increase by 100 Euros per metric tonne.

This price increase information is part of a global announcement and is being coordinated with other regions around the world. Specifics with regard to grades, regions and effective dates will follow and be handled directly within the local regions.
