Lord, today I pray for courage and strength to find my way, through my weakness and fright, and that a guardian angel might help me to be my true self. Give me the strength, Lord, please, to hide away no longer from what I love and care for the most. I wear a mask, and foolishly think it a safe haven. But in truth, it is as false as I have come to be during my times of fright. In wearing my mask, I've come to hurt those whom I love and cherish the most. For this I am both frightened and ashamed.
