Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway sits down with Teen Vogue writer Lauren Waterman while she gears up for her summer sequel "The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement." Although this film was a box office success, Hathaway says, "I'm not famous famous. A friend once perfectly described me as movie starish." Hathaway also talks to Teen Vogue about fashion, "I love clothes that are ladylike but still a little punk: messed-up pretty things with imperfect edges."

Before shooting Princess Diaries 2, Hathaway filmed a role that may surprise some of her fans. It's a coming-of-age drama written by Stephen Gaghan and yes, she ditches her top. Hathaway tells Teen Vogue, "I was in a place in my life where I was pretty down about myself, and I couldn't figure out why. I had everything to make me happy but I just couldn't touch it, so I thought if I played this lost little girl, I could maybe gain some awareness about myself. And it worked -- it snapped me out of my funk and I've been really happy ever since."
